Most Celiac Canadians
never claim what they're owed

Every year I collect hundreds of receipts, build spreadsheets, calculate the difference between every GF and regular product, and pray CRA doesn't audit me. There has to be a better way.
— The experience of most Celiac Canadians at tax time
📋

It's complicated

You must keep every receipt, calculate the price difference for each GF item, and maintain records for 6 years in case of audit.

🔍

Most people don't know it exists

The CRA medical expense claim for GF food has existed since 2003. The majority of eligible Canadians have never claimed a dollar.

🛠️

Other apps still make you do the manual work

Other GF tax apps still require you to manually select your gluten-free items after scanning. Celiac Sentry is the only Canadian GF tax tracker that identifies them automatically — no tapping, no categorizing, no manual work.

Everything the CRA requires,
handled automatically

Built by a Canadian family living with Celiac disease — every feature solves a real problem we personally faced.

📷
AI Receipt Scanner
Take a photo or import from your gallery. Our AI reads every line item and automatically identifies gluten-free products — even abbreviated store names.
🧮
Smart CRA Calculation
Automatically finds the best 12-month claim window to maximize your deduction — not just January to December. Calculates the CRA incremental cost method accurately using per-gram price comparison with Statistics Canada provincial reference prices pre-loaded.
🧾
Audit-Ready Storage
Receipt images saved permanently to your device — never auto-deleted. One tap shares any receipt to Google Drive, Dropbox, or any cloud service you already use. Select all and share your entire year in one zip file. Automatic background sync coming soon.
📄
Audit-Ready PDF Export
Professional PDF with total eligible expenses, every receipt itemised, calculation methodology explained, and CRA filing instructions. Manually verified items noted for audit transparency. Hand it straight to your accountant.
🔔
Per-Gram Price Comparison
The CRA requires you to compare GF prices against regular equivalents. Celiac Sentry pre-loads Statistics Canada provincial average prices for bread, pasta, flour, cereal, and more — so you always have a defensible reference price. Photograph the shelf price for the strongest possible audit proof.
🔒
Privacy First — Anthropic API
Your receipt images are processed by Anthropic's commercial AI — which contractually prohibits using your data for training and retains images for a maximum of 30 days. We deliberately chose Anthropic over cheaper alternatives specifically for their stronger privacy protections on health-adjacent financial data.
✏️
Edit Any Receipt
AI miss a GF item? Tap to edit any item before or after saving. Add missing items manually, correct prices, or split shared items between family members. You are always in control.
👨‍👩‍👧
Shared Item Splitting
Sharing a GF pizza with a non-Celiac family member? Split any item by the number of people sharing. Only your eligible portion is claimed. CRA compliant and audit transparent.
📅
Saved Price Favourites
Shop at the same stores regularly? Save your reference prices by store so you never have to re-enter them. Photograph the shelf price once — it's stored as your verified audit proof and applied automatically to every future receipt from that store.
📅
Optimized Claim Period
The CRA lets you claim any 12-month period ending this year. Celiac Sentry automatically finds the window that maximizes your deduction. Potentially hundreds of dollars more.
